WHO AM I?

I graduated from high school in Orlando, Florida and the University of TN at Martin (Go Skyhawks!) in Martin, TN. After college graduation, I lived in New Orleans and Nashville before moving to Germantown.

Steve and I met and married in Nashville, TN and have lived in Germantown for 30 years. Our three sons were born and raised in this community. They made lifelong friends in this community, played sports on (all!) the ball fields, rode their bikes to the piano teacher’s house, enjoyed participating in boy scouts, and competing in multiple sports. They made friends in this community and have left the nest fully prepared for all life gives them.

We are grateful to live in this wonderful city and raise our three boys in a safe community with strong schools and countless opportunities.

It is surprising how we look back at our own upbringing and can clearly see where our strongest influences came from. As a very young girl, I saw my Grandmother, Muriel W. Pease, bring her neighbors together in Astor, FL. Astor had no gathering place for residents. She and a small group of people met around her dining room table, and years later the Muriel W. Pease Astor Community Association (ACA) was built. That building housed the first library in Astor and today is the local voting location and a community gathering place. I believe my desire to serve and help my neighbors is a direct product of seeing how my Grandmother recognized a need and had a vision to meet it.

My drive to represent this community comes from the examples of service in my life and a strong desire to ensure I protect and enhance this community for future generations.

Alongside a career in medical sales, I have served and led our community in many ways:
